Learn to make luminous paper art and enjoy an afternoon of fun conversation, friendship and learn a new art form. Choose from many different templates and take home a framed handmade art piece for your home or as a gift. You will work on your own light box, provided for the class. From your chosen template we will go through the process of making paper art step-by-step. And at the end of the class your finished art piece goes into a black, white, or natural wood frame of your choice. Then all you have to do is find a bright window and enjoy your creation.

"My name is Bernadette Fahmy and I am a paper artist based in San Jose, CA. This medium allows me to play with light and color that just isn’t available with other mediums. The stained-glass effect allows light to change the pieces throughout the day and illuminates up my world. I can’t imagine doing anything else and being able to share my process and teach this fantastic medium is a new found passion of mine. It brings me so much joy to experience my process through others. With each new creation, I feel that I continue to push the boundaries of what is possible with paper, hopefully inspiring others to explore the possibility of this medium."

In the case that minimum class enrollment is not met 3 days prior to the workshop, Colibri Gallery will cancel the workshop and issue you a full refund. We will also let you know if the class is rescheduled for a future date.
