2024 Morgan Hill Plein Air Exhibition

The Morgan Hill Plein Air Invitational is a yearly event where we invite 15 exceptional artists from all over California to Morgan Hill. These professional artists have two days to paint the beautiful landscape within 20-miles of Morgan Hill. This year, our artists painted over 70 paintings of the area that were judged and presented with awards. We were very lucky to have artist Rebecca Arguello as our judge for this year's event. The exhibition will be on display from June 23 – July 20, 2024.

What is “plein air?” “Plein Air” is a French term meaning painting outdoors on location.  Why is this important? Painting outdoors helps artists capture the spirit of a landscape by incorporating natural light, color, and movement into their artworks.
